My mission. Hello, I'm Edwin. I believe financial wellbeing shouldn't be a mystery or a source of silent anxiety. I'm here to help you move past the noise of money stress and gain the clarity to build the life you actually want.
Where it started. I grew up in a working-class family in the Netherlands. We never felt poor, but money was often a source of tension and a taboo topic, like most people, I was never taught how to manage money in school. The real turning point for me came in 2012, when my father passed away and my mother found herself managing the household finances for the first time in her life. I helped her put a foundation in place, a simple system for tracking what was coming in versus what was going out. The transformation was incredible, within months, her anxiety was replaced by clarity and control, and she wasn't just managing, she was enjoying the process. Seeing that shift from fear to confidence made a lasting impact on me, and encouraged me to pursue helping others.

Why Ireland, why now. I've called Ireland home for many years, and I've noticed the same patterns I saw growing up, plenty of people carrying money stress that doesn't need to be there. I spent 24 years in the IT industry, including 18 years at IBM, but I always found myself drawn back to this topic. I decided to stop just talking about the problem and start being part of the solution, while still working my corporate role, I enrolled in the Professional Diploma in Financial Advice (QFA) in 2023, and graduated in 2025. I'm based in Kerry, and work with individuals and organisations right across Ireland, coaching sessions are held online, and I travel on-site for workshops and presentations wherever they're needed.
Why I'm not selling you anything. I'm a coach, not a broker. I don't sell financial products, and I don't take commissions from banks or providers of any kind. That means there's nothing behind our conversations, except my genuine interest in your progress. I want to help you get from where you are to where you want to be.
ON A PERSONAL NOTE
I'll admit, I'm the person in my household who drives my wife a bit crazy. Whether it's the mortgage, the TV/broadband provider, or the gas and electricity supplier, I'm obsessed with switching providers. In the Irish market, loyalty is rarely rewarded, the best value is always reserved for newcomers. I enjoy the "hunt" for a better deal, and put the savings to better use.
